The band’s first (real) headliner show (& first show in Tijuana, too).
Vanguard will be performing at the Queen Bee’s Art & Cultural Center with Treaded, Zone 7, The Black Heads, & She Is An Alien.
Vanguard opened up for Kreator at a one-off show during their “Phantom Antichrist” run in North America. Due to time constraints, the band only played two songs; it was cool, but we really wish we had the opportunity to give people a better show.
Halloween season is (probably) the band’s favorite time of year to play shows; so much so that we actually played a show in costumes: Jesus was a monkey, Andrew was a banana, Marcos was a penguin, Christian was a Mexican Revolutionary, & Arturo was M.I.A. on this one.
Vanguard supported two bands from Arizona on their first trek to the West Coast.
A venue in San Diego re-opened its doors & Vanguard had the pleasure of being one of the first bands up on its stage.
Vanguard opens for Howard Jones’ (ex-Killswitch Engage) new band, Devil You Know (the band would later change its name to “Light the Torch”).
We played a show at a massage parlor (or at least that’s what we think it was).
The boys played their last show at a venue that would only stay open for another year.
